The newly appointed SRC members gathered in Euphoria for a leadership workshop organized by the Department of Student Affairs. Led by Khanyisani Mnqayi, as the facilitator, the workshop aimed to prepare SRC members to navigate their new roles with confidence. Through group activities, members engaged in teamwork exercises and conflict resolution training, laying the groundwork for a collaborative SRC.
Executive Director of Student Affairs, Melusi Nxumalo, praised the team’s cooperation and enthusiasm, noting that their active participation showed promising leadership qualities. He encouraged them to envision themselves as leaders beyond the SRC, highlighting that these skills will benefit them in future professional roles.

Dr. Masipa Mochaki, Dean of Students, reminded the SRC of their responsibility to make an impact during their tenure while balancing their academic priorities. “Please do not forget about your studies,” she advised, expressing pride in their dedication and urging them to innovate and leave a mark.

SRC President Poto Kamogelo reflected on the unity within his team, sharing his gratitude for the collaborative spirit. He encouraged his colleagues to uphold their commitment to serve the student body with a shared purpose.
This workshop fostered a spirit of unity, innovation, and responsibility, preparing the SRC to lead and support the University of Limpopo’s student community.
